If a friend is trying to get fit, offer to go with them for moral support. With a friend they are more likely to keep it up and feel less self-conscious. You will both have fun – laughing when someone falls off the treadmill, is out of sync in the exercise class or ogling the fitness instructor. They are many benefits… 🏋️♂️
But if the gym isn’t your thing, there are many other fitness options, check with your local activity clubs. My friend and I go swimming then treat ourselves to a sauna/steam/spa afterwards.
